On this week’s program, we enjoy a visit with Msgr. John Urell, the Pastor at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Laguna Niguel, CA.
Fr. Christopher and Msgr. John have a lot in common, having both served in the Diocese of Orange for many years. They were actually classmates in seminary; and, were ordained priests on the same day in 1978!

First job: Working on a soap and cosmetic products assembly line.

What drew him to the ministry: “Our shared faith in God and the joy, the efforts and the sorrows that are part of life. It is a blessing to be a fellow pilgrim with others.”
Favorite scripture: Romans 13:8 – “Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.”
