KATHLEEN EATON BRAVO HONORED AT CAMPAIGN FOR LIFE SUMMIT

Orange County-based Kathleen Eaton Bravo, a 2010 Cardinal John J. O’Connor Pro-Life Award winner, last week received the organization’s esteemed Distinguished Leader Award for her achievements in pro-life leadership. The award was presented at the Susan B. Anthony List Campaign for Life Summit, held April 16 at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington D.C

The summit event featured presentations from policy influencers such as Senator Rand Paul, Rep. Steve Scalise (House Majority Whip), Rep. Steve King and Michael Barone, senior political analyst at the Washington Examiner.

Bravo, founder and CEO of Obria Medical Clinics, a California-based network of medically licensed, life-affirming health clinics offering free community health care and patient education programs, also participated in a thought-provoking panel discussion with like-minded community leaders.

“Receiving this Distinguished Leader Award from the Susan B. Anthony List is an honor and an acknowledgment of more than 30 years of life-affirming social justice work throughout California’s most underserved communities. When I founded Obria Medical Clinics, my goal was to inform and empower young women in crisis pregnancies with agenda-free medical truths about their options,” said founder and CEO Kathleen Eaton-Bravo. “As the demand to join Obria’s network of compassionate, judgement-free medical clinics grows, we have plans to open 25 new clinics throughout the state of California by 2020 to continue offering pregnancy care, pre-natal care, STD testing/treatment, ultrasound, well-woman care, breast and cervical cancer screening, PAP smear testing, HIV/AIDS testing, primary care—through partner clinics and referrals to like-minded providers—to those in need.”
