St. Catherine’s Academy, an all-boys’ Catholic school with a military tradition located in the heart of Anaheim, celebrated Grandparents’ Day Oct. 4. More than 100 Grandparents joined their grandsons on this special day. The annual tradition at St. Catherine’s Academy recognized grandparents for their love, guidance, and the impact they have on the wellbeing of their grandchildren.
The day started with students offering a warm welcome, followed by a special Mass dedicated to grandparents and a delicious lunch together.
“We are so excited that we had the chance to honor and welcome grandparents and thank them for all that they do for their grandsons to help shape them to become fine young men,” said Sister Johnellen, OP, President/Administrator of St. Catherine’s Academy. “We know they are such an important part of their lives, and the love of a grandparent is truly unconditional.”
