During the 3-day national competition, dance teams from all 50 states competed with a total of 6,000 competitors. The competition began with prelim, and semi-final elimination rounds, and concluded with the final round, all taking place at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. This is the first time in Santa Margarita Catholic High School history that the school has won this title at the event. The team will be featured on ESPN in March.

The 2019 National Dance Team Championship takes place at the Walt Disney World Resort® in Orlando, Florida. The NDTC is administered by Universal Dance Association, a division of Varsity Spirit.
