SERVITE ALUMNUS SHARES INSIGHTS ON ENTREPRENEURIAL LEADERSHIP

By Staff     3/10/2016

Servite High School alumnus Brian Lee ’89, CEO of The Honest Company and co-founder of LegalZoom.com, shared his perspectives on entrepreneurship with students on Feb. 24 as part of the school’s Priory Leadership Program.

Lee credits Servite with providing the foundation for his success. “You go into high school not knowing who you are,” he noted. “I really found myself at Servite through experiences with teachers and classmates.”

The leadership program was created to provide students with real-life experiences in leadership and accountability to prepare them to make a difference in their schools, businesses, families and communities.

Lee was a new lawyer when the idea for LegalZoom.com came to him. “I wanted to make the legal profession more accessible and offer efficient ways to help people with legal matters,” he says. ShoeDazzle.com was founded because his wife, Mira, buys a lot of shoes. And he founded The Honest Company with actress Jessica Alba to inspire and promote a healthy lifestyle. Today The Honest Company boasts a portfolio of more than 100 eco-friendly personal care and lifestyle products.
