By CATHOLIC NEWS SERVICE     10/20/2015

During the canonization mass of Sister Maria of the Immaculate Conception, a member of the congregation of the Sisters of the Company of the Cross; Italian Father VincenzoGgrossi, founder of the Institute of the Daughters of the Oratory; and Louis and Marie Zelie Guerin Martin, parents of St. Therese of Lisieux, Pope Francis said that these four saints were particularly committed to serving their brothers and sisters, especially the young. They also nurtured faith and love within the family.

The pontiff added that the new saints should inspire us to joyful service of our brothers and sisters.
