In a collaboration between the Diocese of Orange and the Irvine Museum, and thanks to the generosity of James Irvine Swinden, some of the most beautiful plein air paintings from the Irvine Museum are now on display in the halls of the Pastoral Center on the Christ Cathedral campus.
The paintings feature California landscapes of the Impressionist Period (1890-1930). The temporary exhibit was installed May 19 and a tour with a museum curator will soon be announced. All are invited to view the exhibit over the coming months.
