WESTMINSTER — Blessed Sacrament School’s Academic Decathlon Team posted a first-time-ever perfect score of 50 in the Super Quiz competition at the 2015 Junior High Academic Decathlon held earlier this month at Santa Margarita Catholic High School.
It was the first time in the 15-year history of the diocese’s Academic Decathlon that any school had recorded a perfect score in the Super Quiz competition.
The Blessed Sacrament team also placed first overall in the Small School Division, third place overall out of 18 schools, and fourth place overall in the Logic competition
Students from the school also won individual medals in the Current Events, Fine Arts, Literature and Religion competitions.
