The official World Youth Day app, named Pilgrim, has been launched in preparation of the global youth-focused event and has received more than 5,000 downloads in its first hour of release.
It was created by the Archdiocese of Krakow to help attendees to navigate the city, find sites, landmarks and churches, and even to learn how to handle certain medical emergencies.
The app will be uploaded daily with new information and is available on Google Play, Windows and the App Store.
