OC CATHOLIC SPORTS LEAGUE CROWNS SOCCER CHAMPS

4/28/2015

The Orange County Catholic Sports League crowned its 2015 soccer league champions on Saturday at the final game of the season at St. Jeanne de Lestonnac field in Tustin.

St. Thomas Korean Catholic Center of Anaheim scored the game-winning goal against San Andres of St Philip Benizi Church in Fullerton, breaking the tie game in dramatic fashion. St. Thomas took home the perpetual trophy that was awarded in a post-game ceremony.

The OCCSL is a program sanctioned by the diocese and designed to engage young adults ages 18 to 39 in a semi-competitive sports experience. In this video, OCCSL Coordinator Estefania Garcia explains the program and how those interested can get involved.
