MISSION BASILICA SCHOOL CELEBRATES 90 YEARS

Community invited to The Serenade “Sky Full of Stars” 2018 Gala

By STAFF     10/31/2018

Members of the community unite together in support of Mission Basilica School’s annual Serenade Gala.  The Serenade Gala “Sky Full of Stars” Fundraiser will be held at The Ritz Carlton, Dana Point, CA on November 9, 2018 from 6:00pm-11:00pm and will feature cocktails, 3-course dinner, entertainment, and a silent and live auction.

Since 1928, Mission Basilica School, a non-profit institution, has been providing students with opportunities to reach their greatest potential.  Through academic excellence, guidance, and tradition Mission Basilica School creates a supportive and nurturing environment for children to thrive: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially.  Alycia Beresford, Principal,  states, “Each year, Mission Basilica School hosts a signature fundraising event, The Serenade, a wonderful tradition that adds the additional funds needed to help our school thrive.  As a non-profit institution, the funds raised play a critical role in funding our school’s enriched curriculum and programs.”

Fran Salas, Serenade Gala Committee Chair explains, “As we join our hearts with the community of San Juan Capistrano, this year’s event will be a very special evening filled with love, inspiration, history, and fellowship.  We celebrate the legacy of 90 years of alumni and we are proud to have many of our alumni families return for this event. We look forward to celebrating our children and their future through this lasting legacy!”

We invite all to purchase event tickets, become a sponsor, make a pledge, advertise your business in The Serenade Program and online, or to donate an auction item.  Visit: Serenade Gala ” Sky Full of Stars” for additional information.
