HIGH SCHOOL REPORTERS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS WANTED

OCCATHOLIC.COM IS SEEKING STUDENTS FROM CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOLS IN O.C. FOR JOURNALISM INTERNSHIPS

By Staff     5/8/2015

OC Catholic newspaper is the official news source for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange and it is among the largest newspapers of its kind in the country. With the recent launch of its new website, occatholic.com, the paper is looking for high school students to fill a limited number of journalism and photography intern positions. Those selected will report on the most interesting people, programs and events at their respective schools.

Interns will work directly with the editors and staff of OC Catholic. They will pitch story ideas and accept assignments. Their work will be published with byline and/or photo credit on occatholic.com. Each group of interns will also enjoy a hosted luncheon with OC Catholic editors and staff, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions about a career in journalism. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring writers, reporters and photographers. Those interested should email [email protected] for more information.
