Distinguished Senior Fellow and William E. Simon Chair in Catholic Studies George Weigel comes to the Cultural Center at Christ Cathedral on Nov. 8. The author of “Lessons in Hope: My Unexpected Life with St. John Paul II,” will be discussing the experience of chronicling the life of the beloved pope.
Weigel served as Senior Vatican Analyst for NBC News and provided commentary on Pope Francis’s visit to the United States. He has served 25 years with the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington D.C. He is the author of more than 20 books including “Witness to Hope and Tranquillitas Ordinis: The Present Failure and Future Promise of American Catholic Thought on War and Peace.”
