FIRST COMMUNION GIFTS

By Staff     5/10/2018

St. Hedwig School’s First Communion classes once again selected the new mothers and babies at Precious Life Shelter in Los Alamitos for their service project. Before their First Communion Mass on April 14 the children arrived with a rolling cart, boxes, and tubs filled with items from the mothers’ wish list. The children presented a book during the gifts portion of the Mass that included their written personal wishes and greetings to the resident shelter moms and babies. The following week Theresa Murphy, Precious Life Shelter director, brought one of the resident mothers with her baby to thank the children in their classrooms.
