Delight in a wonderful Episode with the amazing young tenor, Allan Palacios Chan. This Philippine-born American tenor has earned a reputation for performing a wide range of repertoire with absolute commitment to communication and artistry. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music with a Minor in Theater (magna cum laude) from George Mason University and a Masters in Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.  Mr. Chan has been a Corbett Foundation Young Artist with Cincinnati Opera for four consecutive seasons and was a voice fellow at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California for two consecutive seasons where he sang the role of Jake in the West Coast premiere of Matthew Aucoin’s opera entitled Second Nature. He was recently a scholarship fellow at the Berlin Opera Academy. His musical interests span beyond opera, performing Kundiman (Filipino Art song) and various anthems for official events of the Philippine Embassy of Washington D.C.  He recently sang the Philippine National Anthem for Manny Pacquiao’s last fight in Las Vegas with Timothy Bradley, Jr. Yet in addition to his busy performing schedule he makes time to be a parish musician and cantor in the Diocese of Arlington, VA. He often sings at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More. You will love his beautiful voice.
