The Dignity and Courage at the End of Life Conference will be live streamed on occatholic.com

By Staff     4/7/2015

Community and faith leaders from Orange County will gather on April 11 at Servite High School in Anaheim to discuss and respond to the recently introduced SB 128, the End of Life Option Act, a bill that if passed would permit assisted suicide in California. Today the Senate Judiciary Committee voted 5-2 in favor of the bill and it now moves to the Senate Appropriations Committee.

Among those participating in the conference are The Most Reverend Kevin W. Vann, Bishop of Orange and Saddleback Church Pastor Rick Warren.

The daylong event, which aims to educate the faithful on compassionate strategies for dealing with the end of life, includes panel discussions, Q&A with medical experts, testimonials and a call to action.

All are invited to attend the free event, however seating is limited so early registration is encouraged. Click here to register.

The conference will be viewable via live streaming at www.occatholic.com/stream
