The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops outlines the liturgical year on its website, stating that this year Christmas Season lasts from Dec. 25 through Jan. 8. While so many of us have put away our Christmas decorations and have moved into 2018 full steam ahead, we thought it fitting to share these photos as a reminder to all that for Catholics the season of Christmas extends well past Christmas Day.
The story of the first Christmas was shared by youth groups at services held throughout the Diocese of Orange. The Eucharistic Youth Ministry at St. Boniface Parish in Anaheim reenacted the story of the birth of Christ during Christmas Eve service.
