“Science Class”

Class is in session, University of Notre Dame Vice President and Provost Gregory Crawford is in the studio with host Peggy Normandin to discuss his university’s plan to open a satellite campus in the Silicon Valley.  Called the ND California Initiative, its purpose is to place Notre Dame graduate students into influential internships that will advance the school’s commitment to value driven innovation.  Crawford also discusses his annual Ride For Discovery bike ride across America to raise money for rare disease research.

St. Luke’s Catholic Elementary School in Palm Springs, Florida, is committed to getting its students up to speed in the sciences. Normandin speaks with Diane Bachus to discuss the ways in which she is helping her students through the school’s summer program.

Lastly Normandin sits down with Lissa, who recalls the moment as a child when she first “met” God.
