CHRIST OUR SAVIOR CATHOLIC CHURCH CELEBRATES PARISH’S FEAST DAY
Christ Our Savior Catholic Church in Santa Ana, which is celebrating the first anniversary of its new sanctuary, is kicking off the celebration with a multilingual Taize prayer service on the parish’s feast day, “Exultation of the Cross,” on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
The service begins at 7 p.m. with a focus on music, prayers and veneration of the Cross.
Taize is a community in central France comprised of about 80 ecumenical brothers and at least one Catholic priest, who is responsible for consecrating all of the Hosts. The community was founded by Brother Roger during World War II to aid refugees from the war.
These men have devoted their lives to prayer with music, meditation and reconciliation. Their primary focus is toward the young people of the world.

“PATRICK MADRID EXPERIENCE”
Patrick Madrid, the popular relevant Radio host and Catholic book author, hosted his “Patrick Madrid Experience” on Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Arboretum on thrist Cathedral campus.
Discussion topics included angels and arguments for the existence of God. It also featured a dinner and cocktail reception.
