ALOB RETURNS TO CHRIST CATHEDRAL

A night of worship with Firelight

By Staff     8/20/2018

Young adult singer Andrew Laubacher, known as ALOB, is scheduled to return to Christ Cathedral for an encore musical performance on Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. The outdoor summer concert will take place outside on the lawn behind the Cultural Center at Christ Cathedral. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets to sit on. The concert is aimed at young people ages 18 to 35.

Laubacher is a young adult leader in the Irvine-based Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry founded by Deacon Steve Greco. The organization’s mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, build up the Church and evangelize. The Catholic Young Adult Movement is called Firelight, a movement that was launched to help young people who have been disengaged from their Catholic faith to return to it.

Young adults from all over the Diocese of Orange and nearby dioceses are expected to join in this Firelight Worship Night. The event features a night of music, powerful preaching, and fellowship. All young adults and their ministries are welcome to attend. Special guests include Jackie Francois, who will be sharing a message, and Bishop Tim Freyer.
