National Catholic Schools Week – an annual celebration of Catholic education – runs from Jan. 29 to Feb. 4. It is a time when Catholic schools – through Masses, open houses, assemblies and various other special events – share what makes a Catholic education unique and truly a gift to our children.
The theme for this year’s Catholic Schools Week is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”
Here in the Diocese of Orange, our schools offer young minds the nourishment to grow within a faith-filled environment. Under the guidance of Bishop Kevin Vann, our dedicated teachers and staff guide students along their educational journey – meeting standards of academic excellence while fostering the teachings of Jesus Christ.
During Catholic Schools Week, take a moment to reflect on your own Catholic education and the promise it offers to the future leaders of tomorrow.
