For the year 2020, Bishop Vann has agreed to a different approach for “24 Hours for the Lord.” As you may recall, “24 Hours for the Lord” is Pope Francis’ initiative to share more widely the mercy of God through the Sacrament of Penance and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for a 24 hour period between the 3rd and 4th Sundays of Lent. This year in lieu of the event here at Christ Cathedral, we are publishing the dates for all the Penance Services with individual confessions celebrated throughout the Diocese of Orange during Lent. The list of times for individual confessions are also included, as many parishes add extra time during Lent. We also are including the times when parishes have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
