FATIMA, LOURDES AND SHRINES OF SPAIN

Reaffirm and celebrate your faith on this Portugal, Spain, and France tour with overnights in Lisbon, Fátima, Santiago de Compostela, Burgos, Lourdes, and Barcelona.

Along the way, you’ll visit some of the world’s most famous shrines, pilgrimage sites, and spiritual places. Santiago de Compostela has been known as a pilgrimage site since the 9th century. SHRINES OF FRANCE AND LOURDES

May 26 – June 6, 2017

On this faith-based tour through France, you’ll visit some of France’s most important shrines, cathedrals, holy places, and historic sites. You’ll overnight in Paris, the Limoges area, Lourdes, Avignon, and Nevers with time also in Lisieux, Orléans, Rocamadour, Carcassonne, Paray-le-Monial, and Chartres.

One of the many highlights of this France tour is time spent in medieval Rocamadour, one of Christianity’s four holy places. Here, you’ll see the Black Madonna, which has inspired pilgrims since the Middle Ages, and the Grandes Escaliers, 216 weathered steps that devout pilgrims climb on their knees in penance. Other highlights include your three overnights in Lourdes, one of the world’s most visited pilgrimage places. SPIRITUAL HIGHLIGHTS OF POLAND

LEGACY OF ST. PATRICK / IRELAND

June 12-21, 2017

On this faith-based tour through Ireland, visit some of the historic sites important in the life of St. Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint. You’ll overnight in Dublin, Belfast, Claremorris, Galway, and Limerick. Along the way, you’ll visit some of Ireland’s most scenic sites and historic treasures, all while accompanied by fellow believers desiring an inspirational vacation.

Reaffirm your faith when you visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin, founded in 1191 and serving as Ireland’s national cathedral since 1870. Learn more about St. Patrick and the introduction of Christianity in Ireland at the Saint Patrick Centre in Downpatrick. Stop in Armagh, Ireland’s Ecclesiastical capital, where it is said that St. Patrick established his primary church.

Visit Knock, a major pilgrimage site since 1879 when 15 townspeople saw apparitions that included the Virgin Mary. Here, visit Knock Shrine and the Church of the Apparition and Basilica. In 441 AD, St. Patrick fasted on the summit of Croagh Patrick—the holiest mountain in Ireland—for 40 days. You’ll visit the Croagh Patrick Visitor Centre at the foot of this scenic mountain.

On this faith-based, Ireland tour, you’ll also visit some of Ireland’s most dramatic scenery. Gaze out at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, rising 668 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. SPIRITUAL HIGHLIGHTS OF ITALY

With its many places of worship, Italy is a destination for travelers who want to rejoice in their faith. On this inspirational Italy tour, you’ll overnight in Rome, the heart of Christianity; San Giovanni Rotondo, where St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina lived and worked his miracles; and Assisi, where St. Francis was born, worked, and died. GREECE

 

Follow in the footsteps of Apostle Paul on this Greece tour featuring historic sites, cities significant in Paul’s life, and a 3-night Aegean Sea cruise.

In Thessalonika, the center of Paul’s activities in northern Greece, enjoy guided sightseeing and an excursion to Philippi, a busy Roman colony where Paul preached and established Europe’s first church.
