“Each life we encounter is a gift deserving acceptance, respect and love,” says Pope Francis as he shared his Lenten message for the year 2017.
The Vatican invited Chiara Amirante to present the Pope’s message. Amirante has for 20 years been providing services to the homeless.
“To listen to the cry of another makes you enter and tiptoe into their world,” she said. She founded New Horizons, the Catholic community that offers a healing process for the deepest wounds of the soul.
