NATHAN HUSMANN NAMED CFO OF ST. JOSEPH HERITAGE HEALTHCARE

8/22/2016

St. Joseph Health announced that Nathan Husmann has been named chief financial officer (CFO) of St. Joseph Heritage Healthcare (Heritage). With eight medical groups and six affiliated physician networks throughout California, Heritage is one of the largest physician practice management organizations in the state.

As CFO, Husmann will lead, manage and direct all of Heritage’s financial operations across the organization’s medical groups, affiliated networks and more than 2,000 providers statewide. In addition to playing a critical role in developing short-term and long-term strategic plans with Heritage leadership, he will be responsible for building a solid finance organization and assuring the effective implementation of financial operations.

Husmann most recently served as Vice President, FP&A and Finance Operations for St. Joseph Health, Heritage’s parent company. In this role, he focused on improving forecasting and financial analytics capability, including implementation of new processes and technologies to make financial data more actionable and accessible – experience that will serve him well as he begins his new journey as Heritage’s CFO.

“Heritage is proud to welcome Nathan to our team,” said Kevin Manemann, president and CEO, Heritage. “His previous experience as a health care executive and his dedication to our mission and values will be a huge asset to our communities as we continue on our journey to become a Population Health organization and strive to remain one of the largest and most respected physician practice management organizations in California.”

Husmann earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management in Evanstaon, IL, and his Bachelor of Arts in economics and computer Science from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.
