Magnify the Lord. That is the shared mission of the Magnificat, a ministry for Catholic women. On Oct. 5 the organization will kick off its 2017 International Leaders’ Conference near Christ Cathedral at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Orange. The conference runs through Sunday, Oct. 8.

The theme of the conference is the fifth Luminous Mystery of the Rosary – “Institution of the Eucharist.” The lineup of speakers for the four-day event is impressive and includes both local and national presenters. The workshops feature topics including “Flourishing in Mary’s Garden,” “Inspiring Teams, “Leading like Our Lady,” and “Equipped for the Call.”

Mass is also part of the conference experience with a highlight being the Magnificat’s 36th Anniversary Mass on Saturday, Oct. 7 (also the Feast of the Holy Rosary), at Mission Basilica in San Juan Capistrano.

Also on Saturday, Oct. 7, those interested will travel to Christ Cathedral to participate in a Eucharistic healing service.
