LEARN THE GREAT STORY AT DMC2020

By Staff     11/8/2020

The Diocesan Ministry Celebration 2020 will look very different this year, according to diocesan leaders. Safety protocols have changed the event model, but it’s hoped that more people may engage in the virtual version of this annual celebration of the good works the Diocese of Orange and its parishes are doing in the community.

Katie Dawson, Director of the Diocese of Orange Office of Parish Evangelization and Faith Formation says, “We’re taking DMC online this year – and this means that everyone can attend from the comfort of their home and connect to the inspirational content that we’re providing.”

The Oct. 17 virtual event, sponsored by the Diocese of Orange, will take place beginning at 9 a.m. and continue to 3 p.m. with a variety of inspiring speakers and resources. Those who register will receive advance materials to better prepare for the experience.

“We are excited to welcome our keynote speakers,” says Dawson, “that include Sherry Weddell, author, founder of Siena Institute - www.siena.org; Leyden KrullRovello, Director of Hispanic Ministries, Diocese of Kansas City/St. Joseph; and Fr. Francis Vu, SJ, chaplain of Campus Ministry, UCI,  who will deliver important perspectives on why The Great Story is the story the world needs to hear.”

The conference is appropriate for every Catholic in the diocese and will equip us to better respond to the challenges of our time. Register at  dmc2020.org.
