One of Orange County’s most anticipated social events of the spring is the Gentlemen’s Haberdashery. The annual men’s fashion show and lunch at the Ritz Carlton-Laguna Niguel is attended and supported by some of the most notable business and community leaders in Orange County. It is also the primary fundraiser for the Heart of Jesus Retreat Center, which is run by the Sisters Devoted to the Sacred Heart. Last year, the event raised more than $225,000 for the center.
Melinda and Tony Moiso along with Eden and George O’Connell, now all serving as honorary chairpersons, first organized the longstanding event. Current chairpersons are Marc and Trina Lamkin, with Jeremy and Frandy Laster.
This year’s Haberdashery will be held April 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton-Laguna Niguel. As always, the list of male models will include Orange County leaders in the fields of real estate, finance, retail, education, athletics and more.
This year also marks the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Heart of Jesus Retreat Center.
