Catholic charities of Orange County is seeking nominations for Catholic women who deserve recognition for their volunteer work and are outstanding examples for others. The woman recognized as Catholic Woman of the Year will be honored at a luncheon on April 27 at the Delta Hotel in Garden Grove.
Any lay woman who is a registered parishioner in the Diocese of Orange, and is a Catholic in good standing, is eligible.
Nominations are welcome from any parish, Catholic center or school within the diocese and those entities may submit more than one nominee. An individual may be nominated every other year, and up to three times.
Current and past activities will be considered and may include work in the church and in community organizations
All nominees will be acknowledged at the luncheon as well as at an Honoree Tea at St. Thomas More Parish Hall in Irvine on April 20.
