ANNUAL BISHOP’S LUNCH AFFIRMS VALUE OF SCOUTING TO YOUTH

By Staff     5/20/2016

“Growing Your Faith Through Scouting” is the theme of the Bishop’s Lunch, an annual catered lunch, program and fellowship celebrating more than 100 years of partnership between the Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts of America.

The noon to 1:30 p.m. event May 23 for parish ministers and youth directors will encourage them to carry the torch of character development, spiritual formation and values-based leadership development forward to the next generation of parish leaders. It takes place in the Christ Cathedral Pastoral Center at 1320 Chapman Ave., Garden Grove 92840.
