Twenty elementary school students from St. Catherine’s Academy in Anaheim paid a visit to the mayor of the city of Anaheim recently to get a first-hand look at local government at work.
Mayor Tom Tait welcomed the second- and third-graders into his office at city hall and shared with them what it’s like to be the mayor. The students also shared with him why they love Anaheim, delivering to him a collection of letters they had written about the city.
